Meet the members of the Future Varsity program – a six-month program created to support leaders in African-American communities using sport to inspire change.
While other kids are heading home from school to put their feet up, Jahkil changes focus from school to business. At 11 years old he is the CEO of Trophies, a streetwear brand that champions positivity and education, and the Executive Director of Project IAM, a philanthropic endeavor that raises awareness and support for the homeless.
Besides being a student, actor, athlete, and entrepreneur, he is also a public speaker who tells his story to motivate audiences not put off their dreams of making the world a better place—he reminds them with his words, and most importantly his actions.
